Mr Reinhardt Swart (51)

Reinhardt, who received his BEng in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pretoria in 1996 and a Fellowship with the Institute of Directors of South Africa, is a highly skilled professional with a strong background in corporate leadership and business management, particularly in the manufacturing and mining sectors. Known for his visionary leadership and ability to drive business success through cultural transformation, Reinhardt has a proven track record of contributing directly to company growth and expansion.

Throughout his career, Reinhardt has consistently exceeded budgetary and performance targets, demonstrating a talent for maximising operational output while minimising resource expenditure. His expertise includes strategic management, business development, effective decision-making, planning and forecasting, and workplace motivation.

In his recent role as Managing Director at Tanga Cement Plc in Tanzania, Reinhardt led the development of a high-performing organisation that competed effectively on a global scale. By focusing on enhancing human capital, technology, and process competencies, and collaborating closely with senior leadership, stakeholders, and direct reports, he ensured that the company’s support structure drove growth with optimal efficiency.

Biography:

Pieter is a seasoned executive with over 25 years of senior management experience across diverse sectors, including investment management, engineering, manufacturing, and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG). For the past 18 years, he has served as Chief Financial Officer and Board Director in various multinational corporations, with significant board experience on major exchanges like the JSE, TSX, ASX, and DSE.

His expertise includes investment management, capital raising, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, and restructuring. Pieter’s career spans challenging environments in Southern Africa, equipping him with a unique perspective on managing organisations and optimising investments.

Pieter is also skilled in corporate governance, having chaired numerous board subcommittees and currently serving as the Independent Board Chairman of the Chartered Institute of Business Accountants. He is the Executive Chairman and General Secretary of the International CFO Alliance, representing members from over 22 countries.

He holds a B.Comm in Accounting from the University of Pretoria and a B.Compt (Honours) from UNISA, along with an MBA from GIBS/University of Pretoria, specialising in Global Business Strategy and Mergers & Acquisitions.

Pieter’s professional memberships include Certified Public Accountant (CPA(T)), Fellow Member of the Institute of Directors of South Africa (IoDSA), and Professional Accountant from the South African Institute of Professional Accountants (SAIPA).

His extensive experience with major multinationals includes roles at Afrisam Cement Group, Tanga Cement PLC, and Imperial Logistics Group, highlighting his qualifications as a strategic asset for organisations seeking financial oversight and governance.

Mr Cobus Kotze (66)

Biography:

Cobus is an accomplished and seasoned Director and professional who has led due diligence’s, mergers & acquisitions and completed negotiations for more than 20 years.

His experience is diverse, spanning from intellectual property to energy and technology investments of significant size. He also has experience in working in the telecommunications sector in the USA through his involvement in Xiocom where he served on the board of the company as well as Chief Strategy Officer from 2009 to 2011.

Cobus was involved in the sale of the company to telecommunications operators in various countries. Cobus was involved in the start-up and financing of Circle Capital. He also assisted in the Mediclinic and Capitec BEE transactions.

In 1985 Cobus founded PSM Group and Luna Corporation, which later became South African Investment Limited (‘SAIL’). SAIL invested in various high-profile sports teams, sports facilities and related opportunities. The company was listed on the Johannesburg Stock exchange and Luxembourg Exchange. Cobus was the head of business development until Remgro Limited (‘Remgro’) acquired the company’s shares. After SAIL, Cobus managed Remgro’s investment in the South African television channel ‘E-TV’ and was appointed to the E-TV board of director being responsible for its turnaround and various financing activities.

His expertise and knowledge are supported by numerous courses in a wide range of fields of engineering and management.

Carrington then pursued his entrepreneurial ambitions at “Carringconfidence,” his own business consultancy; then Laser Cut Various, a third-tier subassembly manufacturer; KFP Manufacturing, a rail subassembly manufacturer; Integrated Fire Security, a Fire Systems integrator; and Dare2Innovate Investments, a project financier.

Carrington currently holds directorship at Arbitrage Private Wealth, a diversified investment company; BPE, a mining investment company; Fire Detection Maintenance and Service, a Life Safety Systems installer; Mojamalo Security, a Life Safety Systems equipment marketer and distributor; SEEPA Investments, a resources investment company and Bitsanang Capital, a diversified investment company.

Carrington has extensive knowledge and experience in the Automotive, Telecommunications, Management Consulting, Railways, Manufacturing, Engineering, Fire Engineering, Mining, Project Management, Social Investments, Energy, and the Built Environment sectors. Carrington is the current vice chairperson of the South African Fire Development Association (SAFDA), vice chairperson of the Black Business Council Infrastructure Portfolio Committee (BBC Infraco) and seats on the Black Business Council in the Built Environment (BBCBE) council. Carrington is also a member of the Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSIRA) private security industry advisory committee.

Mr Igmar Rautenbach (51)

Biography:

Igmar completed articles with Ernst & Young and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2001. He obtained a Master’s degree in South African Tax and successfully completed the CIMA exam. He held various financial roles across General Commerce industries which include Engineering, FMCG, Banking, Real Estate and IT. Igmar is experienced in financial reporting, system implementation, capital raising and business development and has a keen interest in digitalization of business services in an open economy. He is currently managing a fast-growing system integration business that provides technology and expertise to large enterprises in Southern Africa. Igmar has been appointed as an Executive Director and will also be appointed to the committees as per Annexure 2.3.1.

Mr Thabo Ntseare (46)

Biography:

Thabo completed his under and postgraduate studies at the University of Cape Town from 1997 to 2000. He started his career with Ernst & Young in 2001 as a trainee accountant and after completing his articles and qualifying as a Chartered Accountant, he joined Rand Merchant Bank in 2004. Thabo worked in the Structured Finance division initially as a credit analyst.

The position involved assessing the eligibility of credit applications and presenting them to a committee. Initially Thabo assessed big blue chip corporates before moving to Leveraged Buyouts as a specialist credit analyst.  He then worked as a Transactor/Dealmaker concentrating on property transactions.

Some of the larger transactions Thabo was involved in include the Hemingways Shopping Centre in East London valued at R1 billion and the Georgiou Group purchase of a property portfolio valued at R645 million.

Thabo is currently an entrepreneur in the transport and mining sectors and also a director at Royal Fields Finance, a SMME finance specialist where he also sits on the credit committee.

Mr Karabo Seoloane (34)

Biography:

Karabo Seoloane is the Executive Director of Pulaneng Investments an Electrical and IT infrastructure company. The company supplies critical infrastructure support for utilities and electrical infrastructure refurbishment throughout South Africa.

Pulaneng provides specialised electrical protection, control and metering, consulting and test services. This service also includes the commissioning of new plant for clients in the private and public sector.

Having been involved in the business development and strategic growth of businesses over the last view years. He has also been involved in the fund management, administration and finance for Edge Growth for the SMME development in South Africa.

His qualifications include a B.Com Majoring in Accounting and Finance from the University of Cape Town.
